Modular Homes

MODULAR HOMES
More traditional size modular homes look like, and are built similar to, traditional stick homes in many aspects. When it comes to design, you will find as many floor plans, finishings, colors, and elevations as stick-built, but what you won't find is the price tag.

A modular home is different than a manufactured home; it is simply a home that is built off-site opposed to on the home building site. The normal building timeframe for these homes is more around 3 to 4 months compared to 5 to 6 months, or longer, for stick built. These high-quality modular homes retain their value very well; traditionally stick-built held their value better, but that is changing because of the high standards of today's modular homes.

MANUFACTURED HOMES
Manufactured Homes are beautiful, functional and sometimes indistinguishable from site-built homes. You will find modern kitchens, stainless steel appliances, master suites and walk-in closets.

These homes are built following strict federal building quality standards related to design, construction, strength, durability, transportability, fire resistance, energy efficiency, and performance standards for all house systems including electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning.

Manufactured homes are not mobile homes, and certain lenders offer manufactured home loans that are similar to loans for site-built homes because of the quality standards to which these homes have been built.
